<lj:music>Fantasia of the Wind - Record of Loddoss War</lj:music>

It was nice of the town to give me this journal. I have never had anything like this before, and it makes me curious who created the system. I like the town so far, everyone I have met has been super nice to me. It makes me want to blush and crawl underneath the covers in my bed.

I'm nervous. I hear there's a beauty competition today. I don't know if I want to watch it or not. Seeing a bunch of guys dressed up and shaking their butts doesn't exactly appeal to me. But...then again, maybe I will meet someone who will talk to me and become my friend? I'm lonely here, I really am. This isn't like Spira, it's void of anyone I know. I hope I can adjust, because there is no going back now.

Wish me good luck, whoever reads this! I'm going out there to face my today, and find a new tomorrow!

(Ugh...that sounded so optimistic. How unlike me, but if I'm going to be here, optimisim is definitely better than pessimism.)
